Our seed grant funding enabled researchers in relevant disciplines (such as tissue engineering, food science, cell biology, advanced manufacturing and consumer science), not yet undertaking cellular agriculture research for food production, to apply their skills to the field.

One of the goals of our seed grant program was to act as a catalyst for further research, and we are excited that the work of our seed grantees has led to CAA supporting further consumer research to be carried out by grantee supervisors Gie Liem and Adam Cardillini at Deakin University throughout 2024. We are also proud to share that the work of Lauren and Megan are expected to be published in peer-reviewed journals.

Below you can learn more about each of our previous grantees and access their open-source research.

We are not currently taking applications for new seed grantees at this time.
