Dr. Sam Perkins

Chief Executive Officer

CAA is a tight-knit and committed team led by Dr Sam Perkins.

Sam has a Ph.D. in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Tasmania & Cambridge University. He has extensive experience in strategic leadership and innovation management at organisations such as UNHCR and Engineers Without Borders. Sam has a proven track-record of developing and executing sustainable and scalable engineering technology at national and local community scales.

Sam is skilled in participatory approaches & design-thinking methodologies, contributing to CAA’s ability to convene effective & outcome-oriented collaborations between industry stakeholders.

Dr. Kate Secombe

Kate is a scientist with a PhD in Medicine, where she examined how the gut microbiota contributes to the development of gastrointestinal side effects.
